What does it cost a day?
Feed Naturally WILD as the whole meal and the maths is simple: one jar is 400g. Most adult dogs eat 2 to 3% of their bodyweight a day.
| Dog | Per day | Jars a day | Cost a day | Cost a week |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 5kg | 100g | 0.3 | €1.24 | €8.68 |
| 10kg | 200g | 0.5 | €2.48 | €17.36 |
| 15kg | 300g | 0.8 | €3.71 | €25.97 |
| 20kg | 400g | 1.0 | €4.95 | €34.65 |
| 30kg | 600g | 1.5 | €7.43 | €52.01 |
| 40kg | 800g | 2.0 | €9.90 | €69.30 |
How much does my dog eat?
A 20kg dog eating 2% of its bodyweight a day gets 400g. That is exactly one jar.
Puppies up to 8 months
Around 4% of bodyweight a day, split across two or three meals.
Small dogs up to 15kg
Around 2% to 3% of bodyweight a day. A 10kg dog needs roughly 200g to 300g.
Dogs over 15kg
Around 2% to 2.5% of bodyweight a day. Active dogs sit at the higher end.
Can I use it as a topper?
Yes. Spoon it over dry food to add fresh meat and moisture without changing your dog's routine.
Questions people ask
Is it really fresh if it does not need a fridge?
Yes. The meat is cooked at low temperature and sealed in the jar, so it keeps in a cupboard until you open it. It is not extruded, not sterilised in a can and has no preservatives. Once opened, keep the jar in the fridge and use it within a few days.
Can I feed it as my dog's only food?
Yes. Every menu is a complete and balanced meal with up to 70% meat and added natural supplements. It also works as a topper on dry food. The feeding guide on this page and on the jar gives the amount for both.
How do I switch my dog over?
Over about a week. Start with a quarter jar mixed into the current food and increase the jar share every couple of days. Dogs with sensitive stomachs do better with a slower change.
Why does the food look different from one jar to the next?
Because it is made from whole ingredients, not a paste. The size of the meat chunks and the colour of the vegetables vary from batch to batch, and that is on the label.
Where does the meat come from?
Ingredients are sourced within the EU and every jar lists them in full. The meat is named on the front, for example 60% fresh beef and 10% beef offal, never "meat and animal derivatives".
