About this recipe
A dental chew that is made of food. Most dental sticks are cereal and glycerine. These are natural beef skin wrapped around fresh rabbit, air-dried at low temperature. Free from corn, wheat, soy, artificial colours, preservatives, meat meals and fillers.
The shape and texture do the work. Chewing a firm, textured surface may help lift plaque from the tooth and increase saliva, which is how tartar may be reduced through chewing alone. It also massages the gums.
Good for the joints as well. Beef skin is naturally rich in collagen, which helps support skin, joints, connective tissue and teeth.
Who it suits. Dogs of all sizes, given as a daily or every-other-day chew after a meal. Supervise, and take away the last small piece.

Questions you might have
Can I stop brushing if my dog has one of these?
We would love to say yes, but no chew replaces regular dental care. A firm, textured chew every day may help reduce plaque and tartar through the chewing action and saliva. Brushing reaches the spots a chew cannot. Doing both is the best gift you can give your dog's teeth.
What is actually in it?
Natural beef skin and fresh rabbit meat. No corn, wheat, soy, artificial colours, preservatives, meat meals or fillers. Everything is EU sourced and fully traceable.
Is it OK for a small dog?
Yes, as long as you stay nearby while they chew. The chew is 15cm long, so for a small dog give half at a time and take away the last little piece.
How do I keep them fresh?
Somewhere cool and dry, sealed up between chews, and use them by the best-before date. If you are trying them for the first time, the 150g pack is the one to go for. The 500g suits a daily routine or a house with more than one dog.
