About this recipe
A treat with an ingredient list you can say in one breath. Rabbit ear. That is it. No binder, no coating, no "meat derivatives". It is air-dried, which takes longer than baking but means nothing has to be added to hold the shape.
Why rabbit ear. Rabbit is a protein very few dogs have eaten, which makes it the safe choice for a dog with a suspected food sensitivity. The ear is cartilage and skin, so it is light, chewy and low in fat. This version has the hair removed for dogs that do not need the extra fibre.
Who it suits. Small dogs, puppies and light chewers as well as bigger dogs. If your dog gulps rather than chews, start with a training bone.
Natural means it varies. Ears vary in size and colour because they are whole parts. The 500g pack is for dogs that get through a lot; buy the 100g first.

As an occasional chew, yes. A good rule of thumb is to keep treats under about a tenth of your dog's daily food. Stay nearby while they chew, pick a size they cannot swallow whole, and take away the last little piece. Small dogs and puppies can enjoy it too, in a size they can manage.
